The Canadian German Chamber of Industry & Commerce has called into life the 'Transatlantic Dialogue – Together into the Future' initiative in order to strengthen the cooperation between Canada and Germany on the field of Big Data & Cyber-security and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our goal is to exchange best practices, concepts and new ideas between both countries, thereby creating a platform which fosters innovation. Innovation means progress, and only through progress can we create the future.

This six conferences long series will take place at different locations across Canada and Germany. Each of the conferences will have three panel discussions about sub-topics within the field of Big Data & Cyber-security and AI. We will hereby invite experts with various backgrounds from both countries to vividly discuss the topics of interest at each location. 

The recent and dramatic developments in the fields of Big Data & Cyber-security and AI are already fundamentally impacting societies, industries and individuals. The sheer scale of the consequences, challenges and changes which these recent developments will pose are difficult to fully understand yet. This is why we see the necessity to build a line of communication where both countries – Canada and Germany – can share their experiences, views, opinions or solutions and thereby help each other face the 21st century.
